Exuding an ageless joy and a captivating peculiarity

Erinn

Bekkers

Actor | Dancer | Creative

The Beginning…

Erinn grew up in a small town in a rural part of Ottawa, Ontario surrounded by farm fields and herds of cattle. While she would love to say that her love for the arts was immediate, unfortunately, at age four, when her mom dropped her off for her first ballet class she threw such a fit she immediately had to be pulled out. It was only a full year later, after garnering the experience and wisdom and that comes with being a five year old that she tried again.. Thankfully, that time it stuck.

Over the following years she spent countless hours a week at the dance studio, doing homework on change room floors between classes and competing on stages all over Ontario, Quebec and the United States. Harbouring secret dreams of becoming an actor, she finally took the leap and braved the world of Zoom theatre school during the pandemic before eventually moving to Toronto to train at Randolph College for the Performing Arts.

The Middle…

After graduating and recovering from the system shock that comes with suddenly being alone in a big city, she pulled herself up by her boot straps and got to work.  These days she can be found training at studios like Metro Movement and The Lighthouse Acting Studio.  She has played leading and ensemble roles in professional productions of Disney’s Little Mermaid, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, acted in various short and independent films as well as had the privilege of appearing in several National and International commercials.  In October of 2025, True Haunting, a paranormal docu-drama produced by acclaimed horror director James Wan, premiered worldwide on Netflix in which she played Judy, a friend of the haunted, in the first three episodes.  She loves playing outrageous, larger than life character and underdogs wearing masks concealing their deep desire to be seen.

Outside of acting, Erinn is a developing choreographer and director for children’s theatre and beyond. She loves reading and watching movies. Her fatal flaw is being unable to stick to the hobbies she picks up. To date, she has tried pottery, knitting and puzzle making with little ongoing success.

(hopefully not)

In the years to come Erinn hopes to continue expanding her craft through projects she finds both inspiring and energizing. She aspires to tell impactful, powerful stories, embody characters that are truthful and nuanced and maintain the high standard she holds for herself while pursuing creative endeavours. She also hopes to get better at sticking to hobbies…

The End…
